Welcome to the Black Lantern Motor Court. We invite you to make yourself at home. We are located on 1½ acres in a quiet family area, with a 3 to 5 minute walk from shops, restaurants, the pier, Amtrak station, amusement area and 7 miles of beautiful white sandy beach. Here at the Black Lantern, you can enjoy a relaxing surrounding, and the warm hospitality of the staff that are always available to assist you. We are dedicated to make your vacation as relaxing, and enjoyable as possible.
One and two bedroom cottages are available: each has a private bath with shower, separate living and dining area with color cable TV (40+ Channels ) and sofa. All cottages are fully equipped housekeeping units, with full stove and refrigerator. All linens, pots and pans, dishes, flatware etc. are supplied. Charcoal barbecue and picnic table are provided for each cottage.
Large modern motel rooms to accommodate up to 4 persons, each room has private bath with showers, refrigerator, color cable TV ( 40 + Channels) and daily maid service. Rooms that sleep 4 people have kitchenettes, all fully equipped.
Relax by the pool while watching your children at play in our play area and enjoy the warmth of the sun, or a dip in our pool. At night enjoy the lights around the pool and the relaxing music.
Around our property we have everything within a minute walk. There is a lobster stand right beside my pool that sells Lobsters, Steamers, a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, and drinks all at good prices ( they will cook for you as well ). Across the street from me is a convenience store, and I have a Rite Aid ( pharmacy ) Next door to me which sells a wide variety of things you would look for on vacation, Rite Aid is also a state liquor store.
